The Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of Universities Affairs, visits King Khalid University, meets its employees, inspects its facilities, and reviews its achievements
His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of Universities Affairs, Professor Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, intends to visit King Khalid University in Abha next Wednesday, where the visit includes a meeting with His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Sulami, deputies, deans, and administrative and academic leaders of the university.
The visit will include His Excellency inspecting the university’s projects and its educational and public facilities, reviewing the achievements in the current year, the university’s goals in the coming year, and learning about the most prominent challenges facing the university to address and overcome, as well as launching a number of initiatives that enhance the technical and scientific aspects, and activating their use in the educational and training process.
During the visit, His Excellency will meet with members of the King Khalid University Council and its officials to discuss future work developments and steps to implement future visions in coordination with relevant authorities at the region level and at the Kingdom level. In an effort to support the university in raising the efficiency of spending, improving performance levels, developing the infrastructure of its education system, developing areas of research and innovation, and improving the outcomes of the educational process to ensure sustainability, effectiveness, and strengthening partnership.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency the Minister, Chairman of the University Affairs Council, will meet with his male and female students and members of the teaching and training staff at the university and answer their questions and inquiries. His Excellency will be accompanied on the visit by His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sudairi, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council for University Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bassam Al-Bassam and a number of university education sector officials.
